  3. Your children are beautiful! With just looking at the pictures of their heads, many of them look like the could be about the same age. :)

Did you say this was your third c-section? I'm not sure what your doctor says or thinks (which I would be very intested in hearing), but after my third my doctor pretty much said "all c-sections now to prevent uterine rupture". I have a friend that has had 13 c-sections (hystrectomy after the last one) and she is an AMAZING woman! I've had five, so far, and my doctor said until you get into double-digit c-sections (10) he doesn't worry too much about ruptures unless you are trying VBAC where the contractions put all that strain on your uterus.

You, too, are an amazing woman keeping your family size up to God and trusting in him. (well, your husband is too! LOL!)

God Bless you and your family!

  4. Michelle, Yes, this was my 3rd c-section. The hospital where we are is very small and so all the doctors here will not let me do a v-bac. I know that different doctors say different things and this is an area that if the Lord does choose to bless us again with another little one, we will pray and ask Him for wisdom in how/where to deliver.
13 c-sections is very amazing! I have heard Ethel Kennedy (I think that is her name) had 11.
Having had 8 natural births, I can say that I definately prefer them over a c-section. The Lord has been gracious and I have had quick recoveries will all of them.
I am really not amazing...but I'm so thankful to serve and put my faith in an Amazing God and can claim the promises in his precious Word.
    love,
    Jaynee

  5. What triggered you to have your first c-section and now these past two? I've only had c-sections. After my first we tried VBAC and boy was THAT a LONG day. I ended up having a c-section after being fully dialated and trying to push and they couldn't even see poor Isaac's head so at 2am we ended up "cutting". It's funny, I actually prefer the c-sections because the thought of being in labor indefinitely and all that pain. . .YIKES! I'm a whimp! LOL! Most of my friends say I'm NOT a whimp because they couldn't imagine having all those c-sections. I get more nervous the older I get (married at 28, 6 pregnancies, 5 children and now I'm 40) since it is major surgery and I had some complications with my second one so it is kind of scary. I have some issues with the Spinal and the anesthesia numbing me too high and it feels like I can't breathe. My third was an AWESOME, PERFECT birth so every baby I've had after that I've requested the same Anesthesiologist.

Enough rambling. . .we'll pray that you have a safe trip!

    God Bless!

  6. Michelle~ I had my first c-section here in Mexico with my 9th baby because of placenta abruptio. I began bleeding the morning after my due date, but had no pain. My doctor was out of town, and the doctors at the hospital here gave me something to make my contractions start (bad idea!)...the strong contractions caused the placenta to rip away more and I began bleeding severly and required an emergency c-section.
They don't do v-bacs here at the hospital (at least they won't for me as they consider me "high risk"). We considered going to the USA to have our last couple of babies (doing a vbac), but after much prayer, the Lord led us to stay here.
Thank you for your prayers for our trip...we're taking off in about 30 minutes. :)
    love,
    Jaynee

  8. Sorry to hear about the abruptio! My sister-in-law has two complete placenta previas, one ruptured the other she made it. Now she is always a c-section like me! :O) She is pregnant with her seventh (7th) and due in June. It's kind of sad to hear about the hospital there in Mexico automatically considering you high risk after one issue on your NINTH child that they would make you have c-sections because of that. I pray that God leads you in your openness to life and continues to bless you and your family and that He takes care of you in all your future pregnancies if you are blessed in that way again.

  9. Absolutely precious! I can't get my two to look at the camera at the same time, and somehow you get an incredible picture of your 11! What truly amazing gifts they are!
