Welcome! Nuestra Casa Es Su Casa ...Our house is your house

A glimpse into the life of Daniel and Jaynee Lockwood and their 12 precious blessings. Thank you for visiting; we pray that what we share here may always bring glory to our wonderful God and Saviour. May you praise the Lord with us for the great things He has done and continues to do as we serve Him sharing the gospel here in the little town of Cuidad Insurgentes, BCS Mexico. A new meeeting place

Daniel continues to do better each day. He told me that each morning when he wakes up, he feel 100% better than the day before. He's eating well and resting. The doctor told us it may take 4 or 5 weeks for his yellow skin/eyes to return to normal, so though he still looks bad, he's feeling so much better. Thank you for continuing to pray for his healing.
Right before Daniel got so very sick, the Lord had clearly led us in some changes in the ministry here. One of those changes was a change in our meeting location. For the past 8 months, we had been borrowing a church building from a church that had gone through a split several years ago and dissolved. A couple of months ago, an evangelist from their religion (they are apostolic...believe in salvation by baptism/do not believe in the trinity) came into town and they began to hold meetings again. As we were using their building, we obviously had to allow them to choose the days and times they wanted to use it. So we re-arranged our schedule to accomodate. But as time went on, other issues came up and our people began to feel uncomfortable there. We also have a group from Idaho coming this month; we had planned on some of them sleeping there at the church, but the pastor told us that they believe the building is holy and nobody is allowed to sleep there.
Daniel prayed and began looking for another place for us to meet. Within a few hours, he found a building and was able to rent it the next day. It needed a lot of cleaning, needs some paint and other maintenance work, but besides the main meeting place, it has several other rooms and a kitchen. We are excited about the group from Idaho coming to help out with some of the needed work. We plan on having a Vacation Bible School for the children of the town as well while they are here.
The building is right off the main road when you come into town, so it is easy to find. A couple days before Daniel went into the hospital, he picked up some our people to help clean up the place a bit. Here are a couple of pictures from that day. This week, we are working on getting electricity connected. The owner is suppose to come up today to help work that out. Please pray that we will be able to get everything worked out easily.

  1. Don’t worry about anything, instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.

    ~ Philippians 4:6, NLT

Praying for God's will to be done.

Father God we ask for the lights to be turned on today at the new church, we ask for continued healing of Daniel.

  3. Thank you for your comment! I'm so grateful that people are coming over to my new blog home. I was worried that no one would come and see me since I'm not on HSB anymore. I'm so glad that your hubby is doing better. He remains in our prayers. You are an amazing wife and mother. The Lord is so faithful! :)

  7. Prais the Lord that He provided just when you needed it. I am one of the ones comming from Idaho and cant wait to help out as much as we can and whatever you need us to do. We are continuing to pray for Daniels recovery and for Janey to be able to rest. "Come to me all who are weary and heavy-laden an I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me for I am gental and humble in heart and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light." Matt 11:28-30
