Welcome! Nuestra Casa Es Su Casa ...Our house is your house

A glimpse into the life of Daniel and Jaynee Lockwood and their 12 precious blessings. Thank you for visiting; we pray that what we share here may always bring glory to our wonderful God and Saviour. May you praise the Lord with us for the great things He has done and continues to do as we serve Him sharing the gospel here in the little town of Cuidad Insurgentes, BCS Mexico. He alone is good and faithful!

Sweet smiles and bugs abound

We had a wonderful meeting in Jesus Maria yesterday. Again, Satan tried to discourage us from going, but we were determined to resist his attempts knowing that greater is He that is in us than he that is in the world. Resist the devil and he will flee from you! For one, it was just one of those days. We got off to a slow start, then the older children weren't doing their school work well, the younger ones kept bickering or were fussy, they wouldn't take their naps, and it seemed nothing was getting accomplished....well, other than a lot of disciplining, training, hugging, and the like. I was tempted to stay home with the children rather than go out, but as I prayed, I knew the Lord wanted me to work towards getting the family ready as planned.

Daniel took the van to the gas station to get gas for the trip, when the entire town lost power....therefore, the pumps shut down. We didn't have enough gas in the van to make it, so we prayed and waited. About 45 minutes later, the power came back on and we loaded up and headed out.I'm so glad we did!!

The same people all came back and for the first time, listened so intently. They didn't argue, their questions seemed so sincere, and Daniel was able to share the precious wonderful gospel with these men for almost 2 hours. They were excited for us to be coming back next week and the girls and I promised them we'd bring some homemade bread, cakes and cookies for us all to enjoy.Oh, I know the Lord wants the salvation of their precious souls so much more that we do. Thank you so much for praying for the people there.

The children have been finding bugs galore since the rains...they have quite the collection going. I walk down our hall each night on my way to bed and the ground is covered with all sorts of...well, I usually say weird, scary, or gross bugs...but my children see them as simply amazing! And though I'm not too fond of them and would rather they stay outdoors, they do remind me again of our wonderful, creative, loving Creator and Lord!

Eliseo is just too cute!!! How can anyone say we have too many of these sweet blessings? His smiles melt my heart every time!

Taking care of the
little guy :)

The boys have been raising tadpoles...Elijah brought in one that just got it's legs. You can still see it's tail...it was so little and was already hopping all over the place

Timothy brought home this lovely specimen from church Sunday. It is a tarantula hawk wasp. They are the biggest wasps I've ever seen!
