Welcome! Nuestra Casa Es Su Casa ...Our house is your house

A glimpse into the life of Daniel and Jaynee Lockwood and their 12 precious blessings. Thank you for visiting; we pray that what we share here may always bring glory to our wonderful God and Saviour. May you praise the Lord with us for the great things He has done and continues to do as we serve Him sharing the gospel here in the little town of Cuidad Insurgentes, BCS Mexico. He alone is good and faithful!

What do you do during a hurricane?

Nehemiah does wear pants...sometimes :) The good thing is, he found himself a coat :)

The older boys played Timothy's travel chess game he got from Grandma and Grandpa.
Rebekah and Josiah were "teaching Sunday School :)"

There was a group playing a game
And Noah told me he was teaching Susannah and Nehemiah how to read...that's pretty good since he can't read himself yet :)
Little guy waits out the storm with a nice long nap
But mainly we just watch the storm...from the patio
Or if it gets too windy, we watch from the couch...on top of Daddy :)
The eye of the storm has just made land, but it hit a bit lower than was predicted which keeps us about 70 miles from the eye. So far, it hasn't been to bad! The Lord is answering prayer. Daniel just stopped by to visit the people from our church at the shelter, and they are all doing well. Just bored...so he brought them some soda and chips :)

  1. Praise the Lord that you're safe, so far, and that things are looking good for you. I pray that it stays that way.

  3. I think your family is the only family that makes enduring a hurricane look like a fun time!! :) I know it's not really fun (at least for the adults) because there is worry, and there is a lot to pray for--so I am praying for the safety of your town and your family, and I hope that the hurricane ends up just being a little rain and wind and nothing else!
    Love,
    Jen
P.S. How have you been feeling? has that icky morning sickness been staying away? I hope so!

Later on, To grow up and be able to teach "real" little ones : ) Looks like their in training! We know how it is to weather out a storm... so enjoy the beauty as we pray for your safety.

  14. Jaynee,
I read often but I do not think I have ever commented. Your family is truly amazing. I would like to ask for your prayers for my daughter and her family. Their house burned to the ground on Sept. 23. They have lost everything. They are in Northern California and I am in Texas and feel very helpless. Please keep them in your prayers as they rebuild. Their blog is myfourbundlesofjoy.blogspot. Thank you.

  15. Suzannanana~ I will certainly pray for your daughter. I can imagine how you must feel being so far away. I will pray that the Lord will give them strength, comfort, and peace as they go through this trial as only He can. I will to their blog and leave them a comment there as well.
    love,
    Jaynee
