Welcome! Nuestra Casa Es Su Casa ...Our house is your house

A glimpse into the life of Daniel and Jaynee Lockwood and their 12 precious blessings. Thank you for visiting; we pray that what we share here may always bring glory to our wonderful God and Saviour. May you praise the Lord with us for the great things He has done and continues to do as we serve Him sharing the gospel here in the little town of Cuidad Insurgentes, BCS Mexico. He alone is good and faithful!

First picture with all 12 of our children

Daniel and his brother Joel left tonight to drive to our home in Mexico. Some things have come up that Daniel needs to tend to down there, so they left tonight and Lord willing will be home sometime on Saturday. They'll be driving over 3,000 miles this week, much of it during the night, and we covet your prayers for their safety.
The children and I will go up to the hospital twice during the day to deliver Samuel his milk and then I am hoping to get somebody to stay with them for a couple of hours each evening after they're in bed so I can cuddle and love on my little man.
Samuel continues to do well and is up to.....4 lbs. 4 oz!! And when I went up this morning, they let me feed him from a bottle! He drank about half an ounce.
This afternoon, the nurses opened the blinds just for a minute so ALL the children could get a quick peek at their baby brother. It was so wonderful to see all 12 of them together.
And speaking of babies (which is about all I've written about this month :) ), my baby sister Jacquee delivered twin girls today. They were having some trouble breathing, so my parents now have 3 grandbabies in the NICU.
Thank you for praying...especially this week as I'm without Daniel.

I'll pray for you this week!

Do you miss your home in Mexico?
How long do the doctors say they'll need to keep little Samuel?
Are you getting your strength back?

  3. Praying for safe travels for Daniel and his brother, and quick resolution of the issues that required him to go to Mexico for the week. Also praying for you and the children to be able to juggle everything that needs to be done while they are gone. So happy that Samuel continues to do so very well. He is setting a good example for his new little cousins.

  8. So sweet that all the kids got to "see" their little brother! Praying for a safe trip for Daniel. Also any word on when Samuel might get out of that "joint" :) Hoping it is soon so you can all get back to normal :) Will any of his issues affect when y'all can go back to Mexico?

  9. That was beautiful to see all the children together. We have been following everything and praying for your family. This is the first time I have had a chance to post but wanted to let you know we are praying for you. Only wish we were closer than TN so we could sit with the little ones while you went to the hospital. My third child was in the NICU when he was born but it was always so hard to juggle when and who could go make the visits. I know they are well taken care of by the nurses but they still need Mama and Daddy. How are you I hope you have recovered well. Praying for your family, Missy, Sammy, Morgan, Katie, Josiah, Jacob, Sarah and Little Sam due to arrive in June, The Parris Family in TN. P.S. My kids loved that you named the baby Samuel and we are having a Samuel too.

I hope you are able to get enough rest while Daniel is away, and keep up your own strength to take care of your brood!

  13. Wow, Samuel is growing so quickly. Praise the Lord!! I bet you're happy :-)

We'll pray for Daniel's trip and his safe return.

And for help for you while he's gone. Getting any sleep lately? For some reason my kids always pray that for you :-9

That's interesting that the hospital had you feed Samuel from a bottle instead of just nursing him, since you're there. It must be so nice to just hold him every time you go and spend one on one time with him!

    Keeping you in our prayers~

    Hugs from the Kerschners~

  17. oooooh how precious!! He is just darling and I love the pic of all the kids looking through the glass at mommy and baby brother! :)

the pictures of you and Samuel (especially the one in your sidebar) make me long for the day (very soon) when I can hold my little girl in my arms for the first time! she's getting very active in there, kicking and going nuts every time she hears daddy's voice or any sort of music! :)

I will be praying for you and your entire family as Daniel travels South... I hope that you have lots of help while he's gone. I wish I lived closer!! I'd be there in a heartbeat!

    love jess
