Swine Flu

We've had a few people ask us about the Swine Flu. Some are wondering if we are nervous about going back to Mexico or if there have been any cases in our specific area.
From what we have researched, to date, there are no reported cases in our area (Baja California Sur). In fact, last time we checked, there were more cases reported now in the United States than in Mexico.
After much prayer and counsel, we feel the Lord would have us to return to our home and the ministry there at this time.
We do not fear returning and know that the safest place to be is right where the Lord has called us. We rest secure in His loving care knowing He is with us whithersoever we go.

  1. I look forward to following your family as you return to his mission field. I so appreciate the fact that your mission dod not end just because you were in the States. You truely are a family of God and we see his miracles over and over in you. Thank you for your boldness in the Lord wherever he has you. God is so proud of ALL of you.
    I love your family!

  5. Jaynee, This reminds me of my son's dictation excercise for this week, "My religious belief teaches me to feel as safe in battle as in bed. God has fixed the time for my death. I do not concern myself about that, but to be always ready, no matter when it may overtake me." ~Thomas Stonewall Jackson

  9. What a godly example of servants you are for Christ to your children. That even the swine flu is not going to keep you from doing his work. I imagine you might already be home, so hope it was a quick trip with lots of healing little noses and a healthy Samuel as well. This picture is absolutely adorable of him!
