Update on Doctor's visit

I saw the doctor late this morning. He is concerned and ordered a blood, urine, and (how do I say this nicely) 3-day phelgm test. I tend to feel better in the morning/early afternoon (temp 99-100) and then feel worse in the late afternoon/evening (101-102). Other than the fever and a cough (not a really bad one...less than when I've had bronchitis), my only other complaint is fatigue and lack of appetite. Thank you for your prayers; how thankful I am for the Lord's abundant strength and grace just when we need it most...His strength truly is make perfect in our weakness. And I feel weak and think I'll sleep :) Good night!

  8. Hi, we are praying. I do not know if either Dengue or Malaria run in your area. In the Philippines if we even suspected Malaria or Dengue natural folks would drink a cup of freshly brewed tea from papaya leaves. The young leaves at the top of the tree. Some people said that eating a young Papaya leaf fresh took the fever away - right away. I have never done that I have heard it's bitter. Whatever is causing this fever may you find rest and comfort in the hands of your Maker.

  10. Jaynee, I've been following your blog since Eliseo was born but have never commented. I just feel so badly for you right now...I can't believe all that you've been through in the past 18 months. And now you are sick with this fever. I honestly do not know how you do it! Seriously, I know I never could manage with such a good attitude. I hope you get some good rest and feel better soon. :) ~Suzanne
