Brief Update

Thank you for your prayers and encouraging comments. Jaynee is resting and recieving her first unit of blood, but in a tremendous amount of pain. When she stirs she keeps saying "mucho dolor" (great pain), and then tells me she needs medicine, that she can't handle the pain. They can't mix the pain medicine with the blood transfusion so she has to wait for 2 hours.
Thank you for caring. Jaynee is always the one caring for others, now she needs our prayers

  2. I have rarely commented but regularly read your blog and pray for your work there in Mexico. I am praying for Jaynee's recovery physically and for her heart as she learns about how her body has changed. God is so good and I know you and Jaynee will find ways to praise God in this circumstance but I also know that sadness will probably be part of the process - so I will hold your family to the throne of our great God - He is holding all of you!!!

  3. Dear ones,
You are definitely in our prayers.... the same thing happened to my friend and thank the Lord that she (like Jaynee) was in a good hospital at the time where the Dr could recognize the grave danger and act in her best interest... but her recovery will likely be slow since this event is sooo drastic. I think my friend had over 12 units of blood - that saved her life. We will be praying for emotions too (my friend had only 3 children). May the Lord hold you all close to Himself.

  9. Daniel and Jaynee,

Thank you for the update. I just read both posts and was sure, at first, one of the little ones was in the hospital.

"God you are soooo good to Jaynee and Daniel, blessing them abundantly with little sweeties to hug and hold. With a marriage that is centered on YOU dear God! Thank you for caring for Jaynee. Send her all the right Dr's, nurses who will tenderly care for her and help her get better. I know you are with her right now. Even tonight when Daniel is resting, You are not. You are ever watchful. Please Lord, right now, relieve her pain. Give her rest. Rest in YOU. Thank you God for caring so much for them and I pray for quick healing for her body and spirit. Praising the Lord she has a God who is always there, waiting to be called on. In Christ's name I ask you for all these things....amen"

Please give Jaynee a hug and smile from us all.

  14. My heart is very heavy for you Jaynee and Daniel. I am praying for relief from pain, as I know this procedure is quite painful. I barely remember my first 24 hours after my planned surgery. I can't imagine the heart pain you too are/will feel. I am praying!!

  18. The Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away, blessed be the Name of the Lord! (Job 1:27)

Praying for peace that surpasseth understanding to be in your hearts. God knows and He is in control and He ordained this. It seems like such a blow, but God knows. (I say that having buried two of my own.) It is still hard and I'll be praying for you.
