Welcome! Nuestra Casa Es Su Casa ...Our house is your house

A glimpse into the life of Daniel and Jaynee Lockwood and their 12 precious blessings. Thank you for visiting; we pray that what we share here may always bring glory to our wonderful God and Saviour. May you praise the Lord with us for the great things He has done and continues to do as we serve Him sharing the gospel here in the little town of Cuidad Insurgentes, BCS Mexico. He alone is good and faithful!

Her blood type

Jaynee's blood type is A-. My blood type is O+, I am unable to donate. I just went to the blood bank, and talked to them, they said I need to find 5 people with A- blood to replace what Jaynee has used. Remarkably, the Doctor had ordered more blood and the blood bank said they didn't have any more, but after talking to them they "came up" with another one that was supposed to go to someone else??? (It's Mexico don't ask, I don't get it either). The good news is that Jaynee is going to get what she needs now. Now pray that I can find people with the right blood, today. They have to donate tomorrow at 8:00

  4. What a powerful reminder to all of us, that we should be donating blood wherever we live. Continuing to pray. It's a privilege to come alongside you, before the throne, beseeching on Jaynee's behalf. May the God of all comfort give you peace, and may He touch and heal Jaynee!!

  8. We will pray specifically that the Lord would compel those who can help to respond. He can supply in ways we can't even begin to think of...exceedingly, abundantly above all we can imagine or think! We as well pray for you and your children...

Trust in the Lord with ALL your heart and lean NOT on your OWN understanding...

  11. I am so sorry to hear about this, I am sure you have already thought of this, but what about the children? Can the older ones donate a pint of blood? Perhaps they are a good match for their mother? I don't know if they allow children to donate blood, perhaps it isn't done, but it's worth a shot. I wish I lived closer as I am A-. It sure is a horrible feeling to know I could be of help but can't because of distance. Have you contacted the embassy? Perhaps some could be shipped from America? Perhaps her family members here in the states could organize a blood drive here and could have it shipped there? I know things like this have been done before.. there has to be a way somehow. Will be keeping you and your family in my thoughts all day.

Hoping that Jaynee can get some rest and relief from her pain, and that you can find the blood donors you need for the morning. Sending our love and prayers from across the pond x

    4him@crosswayisp.net

    Father God,
We know that You who have formed us in our mothers wombs...and who was God still on His throne during the Flood and when Your Son died on the cross...we also know that Lord You are Still on throne in and through all of our trials and tribulations...Lord I humbly ask you for Mercy and Grace upon Jaynee's body and Strength for her spirit...May you also carry Daniel in this time of great need and be His strength and confidance...be with the children and may their hearts praise you and know you more during this time...Ultimately may You Lord be Glorified and a testimony to the Lost that are all around them and watching this family suffer greatly..may they see Your Peace living and shinning through them though their hearts are heavy and fearfull...
In You Precious and Glorious Name

This sounds like a very critical situation right now--but remember that with God ALL things are possible!! May the peace of God which transcends all understand guard your hearts and minds in Jesus Christ our Lord. Praying, praying, praying!

  27. Thank you so much for the frequent updates - I am happy to have read the latest that she is much better! I wish I could donate, but I have a different blood type and live thousands of miles away. Praying for you!

PS - I think I read a comment asking about O+ being a universal donor, and unfortunately for Daniel's sake, its O negative (but in a case like this they most likely would want a complete match since "universal" can be riskier than a full match)

  28. My son has a blood disorder that he got from me and my mom and grandma and he is 3 months old and has had 3 blood transfusions so far. I am giving him Chlorophyll...the body uses it to help produce more blood cells more rapidly. It is similar to blood but has magnesium instead of iron. I don't know if you can come across it down there or if the doctors will allow her to drink it but it would help her. We have it in pill form as well. We will be praying diligently in Mena Arkansas that she is healed, that God would allow her body to produce the blood it needs rapidly and that you would have an abundance of blood donors.
