Welcome! Nuestra Casa Es Su Casa ...Our house is your house

A glimpse into the life of Daniel and Jaynee Lockwood and their 12 precious blessings. Thank you for visiting; we pray that what we share here may always bring glory to our wonderful God and Saviour. May you praise the Lord with us for the great things He has done and continues to do as we serve Him sharing the gospel here in the little town of Cuidad Insurgentes, BCS Mexico. He alone is good and faithful!

Pray for this town

We just enjoyed having Daniel's youngest brother Micah with us for the past 4 weeks. During his visit, he helped Daniel with some "man" work (painting, moving dirt, digging, building shelves ect...) and he was also able to accompany Daniel on the daily visitation/preaching/discipleship. Daniel and our oldest 6 boys just left a couple of hours ago to take him to the airport. Micah's doesn't have to be at the airport until 1 pm, but since the airport is just a little ways from the beach, they left early this morning so the boys could enjoy 1 last time playing in the sand and water with "Uncle Micah".
The house is so quiet with just the girls and Nehemiah. We are doing some much needed cleaning (washing sheets, windows, dusting ect...) and then we will go to town to buy some groceries.
Please continue to pray for the people here. Daniel goes out most every day from about 2 pm until around 8 or 9 pm going house to house preaching and sharing the gospel with all who will listen. Pray the Lord will open their ears and hearts to the truth. Here are some names of people you can specifically pray for:
-Pancho Lopez
-Senor Pedro and Senora Luz
-Rodolfo
-The Mother of Rosita
-Andres

Andres is a young man who just got out of prison recently. For some reason, he is very hostile to everyone. He has tried to burn down his grandma's house, yells at everyone, and seems to have particular resentment to Daniel. Andres goes to his grandma's/mom's house to eat his meals. His grandmother and several other people from that household attend church services faithfully with us. One evening, when Daniel went to pick them up for church, Andres started yelling horrible things and throwing potatoes at our van. Our church here is specifically praying for this young man. So far, he won't talk to Daniel. Please pray especially for Andres.

When the foot and the eye meet

Setting: I (mommy) am in the bedroom folding laundry; Children are in the backyard playing

I hear, "Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa" And then, "Mommy, come quick...Josiah's eye is bleeding"

Upon seeing Josiah, I get him into the kitchen and begin to wash his eye with water.

"What happened?" I ask.

Elijah- "I accidently kicked him in the eye"

Mommy- "How did you do that?"

Elijah- "I was trying to kick the soccer ball."

Mommy- "And you missed?"

Elijah- "I didn't think I did, but I guess so"

Mommy- "Josiah, why was your head down by the soccer ball?"

Josiah- "I was just trying to see something"

Mommy- "What were you trying to see?"

Josiah- "I don't remember. I only saw Elijah's foot."
