Guess who's back in full baby action????
Got lots of hugs and kisses and cuddles from everyone...
And then a nice, llloooonnnngggg, warm, bubbly bath...scrubbed head to toe by Daddy and Mommy!
We are getting ready to do something special...something the children have been counting down to for months...but more about that later :-)
I thought this was cute~
I'm teaching 5 of my children as well as a young girl (Alondra) and a young lady (Lupita, Julia's daughter) to play. I'm sooo thankful my mom was so patient with me all the years she taught me! Our family loves to sing together and play together. Make a joyful Lord unto the Lord!
Morning Breakfast helpers! :)
Morning Breakfast helpers! :)
Monday, we went out to San Carlos, a port town, where some of the people from our church have been working all month killing clam. They pack up some blankets, clothes, dishes and a little stove and stay over there until clam season is over. They make 3-4 times as much a day killing clam as they do working in the fields. Since they haven't been able to attend church during this time, we've gone out there to them...singing, a message from God's Word, and wonderful fellowship!
What a smile on Samuel's face!! :) Gotta say he sure has grown a LOT from that tiny preemie you delivered....and he sure looks like his big brothers! So glad he is finally out of that big cast!!
ReplyDeleteYippee!! Samuel's leg is FREE :-) He must have ~loved~ his bubbly bath!
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet time of fellowship you must have had in San Carlos. I guess I didn't realize you all went. Great pictures~
Thanks for the update and you've got me wondering what you're up to :-)

Has it been that long already that Samuels cast is off? so glad he healed just fine!
ReplyDeleteGlad that Sam is free from his cast.
ReplyDeleteI have a question though... When you say killing Clam does that mean like gathering and harvesting them to eat or does that mean just killing them to be rid of them? I guess I am a little confused.
Dana
Dana~ They kill them for eating :) They get shipped all the way to Japan!
ReplyDeleteWould love to hear that duet! My hubby and I both play but have never put a duet together - maybe I'll have to tell him about you. :)
ReplyDeleteIm so glad to see he has his cast off, life should be a lot easier for him now.
ReplyDeletePraise the Lord that Samuels cast is off!!!! Oh he is just the cutest little guy!!!! I love all the pics. Esp the one of daddy and his little helper under the truck!!!! That is wonderful you guys play piano and that you teach yours!! I am gonna have to pay a teacher!! I loved your testimony on skirts and have been meaning to share. So fun to read. You really bless me and we pray for your family lots. I had a dream the other night we became neighbors but I was too scared to live in Mexico so we left!!! :) Take care and how fun to see you worshipping with everyone there. God is good. I pray many many more get saved. Much love

I am so happy for you all! I know that things will be easier for all with the cast off now. I enjoy seeing your ministry so very much. I dearly wish that all missionaries had blogs such as this so that we could see into the ministry more. Your life amazes me. I often wonder about your logistics of running your home. We have seven children here and follow a schedule, are trying to get into a good pattern and deligate. Still, it all doesn't seem as seasoned as your plan. Your house always seems meticulously clean and you have time for so much. Piano lessons to 7 students? Seriously? Maybe one day you could go more into your systems of getting things done? I'd love to hear and learn!
ReplyDeleteGod Bless,
Susan
so glad Samuel has freedom!
ReplyDeleteenjoy reading and praying for you guys.
Hugs,
Teena
Love the pictures & updates.
ReplyDeleteThe pic of you & Daniel playing piano reminded me of a YouTube video I saw a while back of an elderly couple playing an impromptu piano duet. I've found it again for you to see ... and in so doing I found their "story" also -- and they're giving God all the glory. "Making a joyful noise" to bless others is their ministry. PTL
I don't know if you can view these where you're at, but here are the links for the song & their story:

What a great update! So glad Samuel is all done with his cast.
ReplyDeleteI love how you brought 'church' to those who couldn't be there. That is wonderful, and such an example of what true ministering really is!
