When you just don't want to let go....
Your very dearest friends....
And neighbors....
Who you love so very much....
As close as a sister could be...
And the tears won't stop falling...
Not knowing if you will ever see their faces again...
I thank the Lord for 10 precious years...
For the friendships that will last for eternity....
Hearts forever knit together....
Knowing you will forever be prayed for and loved...
By the ones who you will always love and pray for...
Best friends....
New sisters in Christ....
For all eternity...
Good-byes are soooo very hard....
But by God's amazing grace, they are only temporary.
Sweet last trip to our store...
To buy a couple treats for the road...
One last walk together home...
Feet covered in that dirt we miss soooooooooooooo much....
God bless you, Baja California Sur.
We miss you so much.
A huge piece of our heart stays with you.
Philippians 1:3-11
Please continue to pray for our family.
For safety as we travel the rest of the way back home the next couple days.
For the Lord's provision. Than Daniel can find a job soon.
For healing for our marriage.
For the children as they transition to a new culture as they miss their Mexico so much.
Praising the Lord we found a home to rent.
God is so faithful and so very good!
Praying for you and your family during this difficult time of transition. God will provide.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the beautiful pictures. I'm so glad you've found a home to rent. Oh, what a blessing you are to me, Jaynee!!! After I looked at the pictures, I showed them to my husband, and I said, "They're gonna be aaaaalllllright." Then I told him I didn't know how to comment on this post. I told him that I just didn't know what to say. He said, "Just tell them what you just told me." So Jaynee, "Ya'll are gonna be aaaaalllllright."
ReplyDeleteSuch sweet memories! Safe travel. The Lord is with you! xx
ReplyDeleteLamentations 3:21-24
This I recall to my mind,
Therefore I have hope.
Through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed,
Because His compassions fail not.
They are new every morning;
Great is Your faithfulness.
“The Lord is my portion,” says my soul,
“Therefore I hope in Him!”
At my "big" age, I am starting to see clearly how God was in every little details of our lives... Even the hard ones... the ones we didn't understand at the time they happened, the ones that hurt deeply
ReplyDeleteWe can see now how they are working or worked for the best.
I pray that you can keep your mind and eyes on God's promises : all things work for the best of the ones who love God
(I am better in french ;) )
Dear Lockwood Family, I am praying that you have a safe trip. Please continue your message ministry because you help so many people. God has big plans for all of you! If you are going to live in California, all you Spanish speakers will have such opportunities to spread the Good News. Peace be with you as you start a new page. Praying.
ReplyDeleteWe are still praying for you all. Thanks for sharing your goodbye pictures.
ReplyDeleteNot sure if my last comment worked? We are praying for you all as you transition to a different way of life. Thank you for sharing all your pictures.
ReplyDeletePraying for you and your family!

ReplyDeleteI am a long time reader. I just wanted to say that I am holding you and your family earnestly up in prayer. My heart hurts from what I read here but even we don't understand things God is in control.

Thank you for sharing such beautiful pictures. Your time in Mexico touched many lives there and also here in the States. Keeping you and your family in our prayers during this transition period. We love you! Psalm 28:7

ReplyDeleteMy prayer, my hearts desire, is for God's complete healing in your marriage/family. Time, is all I can think of, time, forgiveness and more time. May your journey north be one of safety and security. Jaynee, please, if you get a chance, please e-mail me. I have lost your address. I would really like to talk to you in person, spend time with you. Take care and God bless. Damara
ReplyDeleteHi Jaynee,
ReplyDeleteMy heart aches for you. May God help you through this great transition and be your comfort and peace. You are so amazingly strong and your love for the Lord during the hard times is precious. Keep fighting and kiss those babies(and older ones) lots. Love and prayers dear, dear friend.

Jaynee, it was so good to read your post today! We're keeping you all in our prayers during this transition. Love from us all!
ReplyDeleteAbout made us cry. We sure can empathize with leaving part if your heart there. We did too!
ReplyDeleteJust so sad that it has to end. Somehow someday somewhere with someone you have to go back there!!!!!
Maybe further east so we can visit you easier. :)
Looking through this makes me cry. I know what you mean by leaving part of your heart there. As we changed mission fields this past year we left a huge part of our hearts with the people we had grown to love and be family with in New Zealand!
ReplyDeletePraying for each of you each day! God has strength and grace for everything... You are one of my heroine, Mrs. Lockwood, and always will be!
Still praying for you. You are on my mind often dear woman.
