My heart skipped a beat

The children are getting their shoes on as we are about to leave to get ready for our evening church service, but today, while we were laying down for our Sunday afternoon rest, right after "Daddy" talked to and sang to his new little boy/girl, I felt him/her kick me! :)
That "very first felt kick" always makes my heart flutter; I never tire of feeling it! It is just so wonderful how God is forming this precious little baby inside me! I am just so very blessed...my 12th "first little kick" felt today! :) Thank you Lord!

  3. How exciting Jaynee~
It's amazing that those little ones can really hear and recognize all the siblings voices when they come out. I was amazed how much Granton responded to our kiddos just minutes after being born. Too sweet~

  6. Maybe next time Daniel sings to the baby, he can also lend some fatherly coaching like, "'Justin', now that you have learned to kick so well, it's time for you to stop making Mommy so sick in the mornings! We love you, Baby..sleep well tonight!" :)

  9. Hi Jaynee,
So thankful all is going well and you got to feel the baby, how beautiful the treasures a mommy gets to experience, how God is creating, even before the world began this little one was in the Fathers mind, how He is forming this little one in the secret chamber of your womb and then Lord willing you will get to see what the Lord hath made for your family!
I love this scripture,Is. 43:7, Even every one that is called by my name: for I have created him for my glory,I have made him; yea, I have made him.

  13. I can remember the exact place I was sitting/lying when I felt my last two babies move for the first time. What a precious memory. I wish I could remember with all of them, but I didn't appreciate it enough to make it a point to store those memories, yet. Amazing what we are just beginning to learn after baby #10 or so, isn't it?

So happy that baby Lockwood is growing and thriving! :)
