Samuel's took a turn for the worse today. He sounded so much more congested and as he coughed, he couldn't breathe and would turn bluish/purple. I took him to the ER in the town next to us and they admitted him. The pediatrician will be in early in the morning to evaluate him and take chest x-rays. Daniel is there with him now; the children and I will return in a few hours. He turned 3 months old today.
The Lord is so good; He loves us so much; and He hears.
While my heart aches so badly right now, I know I am not alone. I can cry my heart out to my God and He hears. When sleep won't come, I can open His precious Word and cling to His promises.
Please pray the Lord will heal our little boy.

ReplyDeleteHi,
ReplyDeleteI'm praying for your little baby, Samuel. I don't really know you except for reading your blog. I found it from Amy's Daily Pleasures blog. Your children look so sweet, and I enjoy reading your posts. I'm praying that Samuel will be okay, and come home soon, and for help for all of you in the meantime. Blessings to you.
Love in Christ,

Even though I have been reading since just before Samuel was born, I have never commented because we don't have much in common. But I want you to know that I will be thinking of your family, hoping for the best and checking in for news about your little Samuel.
ReplyDeleteYour posts are always so sweet and lovely, and your family is so precious. I mean, it would be a horrible thing for a rude, horrible person to be worrying about their sick child as well, but still - I hope things turn out well.
Praying for baby Samuel, and all of you, and for the doctors and nurses who are looking after him. Sending you hugs

Praying that no news is good news..
ReplyDeletehope he is doing better.
Continuing to pray for Samuel, and all of you, Jaynee. Also praying that people in your church family, there, will surround you and help you with the care of the other children so you are able to be with Samuel as much as possible. As much as I'm praying for strength and clear breathing to return to Samuel, I am also praying God's peace to cover the rest of you, and for Him to enhance the effects of the little bits of sleep you can get, so you can stay strong and healthy to be the Mom you want to be to all of your children right now. Praying, also, for all of those caring for Samuel to be alert and decisive, and to make wise choices about what is best for him each step of the way. God was faithful in doing that before he was born, and in his early weeks in the hospital...and He will be faithful, again, now!
ReplyDeleteI am sorry to hear he is sick and know that we are praying for you in the East Bay, Northern California.
ReplyDeleteI've had Samuel and your whole family in my prayers a lot lately. I'm wondering how things are going? When you don't post, I begin to wonder if everything is going okay.
ReplyDeleteLove in Christ,
Suzi
