Did you all have a good weekend? I was just thanking the Lord for the many blessings of the past couple of days when I thought I should take a couple minutes and just jot them down here...it is always wonderful to remember how very good the Lord is.
Saturday afternoon, Timothy and Elijah came running into the house after returning home from soul winning with their Daddy, Grandpa, and Uncle. "Mommy, the Lord answered our prayers and somebody asked Jesus to be their Savior today!" Then they sat on our bed telling me all about this lady who had given her life to Christ.
Saturday evening, after we'd tucked the little ones in bed, Daniel's sister came over so Daniel could take me out for supper. We enjoyed a delicious meal together that even came with a complementary dessert and an even sweeter time of fellowship together.
Then this morning, we were so blessed to watch our pastor baptize 6 people who wanted to publically profess their faith in Jesus Christ and follow Him in baptism. And right now, Daniel and the older children are at a gospel outreach where Daniel is preaching to a group of unsaved teenagers.
It is so wonderful to be able to serve the Lord no matter where you are!
Oh, and here are some pictures of Rebekah making her banana cream pie yesterday~ Daddy's words- Absolutely delicious!
Welcome! Nuestra Casa Es Su Casa ...Our house is your house
A glimpse into the life of Daniel and Jaynee Lockwood and their 12 precious blessings. Thank you for visiting; we pray that what we share here may always bring glory to our wonderful God and Saviour. May you praise the Lord with us for the great things He has done and continues to do as we serve Him sharing the gospel here in the little town of Cuidad Insurgentes, BCS Mexico. He alone is good and faithful!
that looks so yummy!! I just told Lily I would start "cooking classes" with her as part of homeschooling, and i just might have to start with this!!
ReplyDeleteSo, Jaynee, when are you going to share that baby's name with us? :) I was happily reading through this whole post, about what a good weekend you had, etc., and just waiting for you to get to the end and say something like, "and, oh...by the way, the baby's name is ---- ------- , not Justin Other!" ...but I read through everything twice, and not even a hint in there! Daniel, please give her your "go ahead" to tell the world!! :) We are waiting on pins and needles! :)
ReplyDeleteAnd Rebekah's pie does look wonderful! Bet that didn't last long! Turn your back, and the whole thing is gone just like that!
What a yummy looking pie!! I'm so glad your family is able to carry on your ministry in spite of the change of location!! God is for sure a good God!! Continuing prayer for you and your wee little man!!
ReplyDeleteI just love reading about your family!! You sound like you all just carry on with life at the new location! I'm sure there are rough times but your posts are always encouraging!!
ReplyDeleteHi Jaynee and family,
ReplyDeleteIt's so great for you to be able to update a little more often now. I don't always leave a comment but I am reading each and every post and just trying to soak up some of the love that your family has for each other. It's so wonderful for you to have a daughter who can carry on in the kitchen for you. Of course, boys can cook too, I don't mean that, but around our house the girls tend to enjoy it a little more. Blessings. Take good care of yourself.
Marie
What a big girl! Don't you love seeing the fruits of your labors? I tell my girls that guys are going to be lined up waiting to marry one of the Senecal girls just for the bread he'll get for the rest of his life. ;)
ReplyDeleteI love sharing bits of your every day life as well. Aren't children such a joy?
She did a beautiful job on her pie.
ReplyDeletePraise God for what you family is doing. May God continue to bless you all, and the people you touch.
Oh what a fun bunch of pictures. I see your kids are as silly as ours with pictures :-) We ~love~ banana cream pie, my favorite!
ReplyDeleteWe are sending you a little care package for you and your little fella!
You are so right, God can use us anywhere and anytime.
