Welcome! Nuestra Casa Es Su Casa ...Our house is your house

A glimpse into the life of Daniel and Jaynee Lockwood and their 12 precious blessings. Thank you for visiting; we pray that what we share here may always bring glory to our wonderful God and Saviour. May you praise the Lord with us for the great things He has done and continues to do as we serve Him sharing the gospel here in the little town of Cuidad Insurgentes, BCS Mexico. He alone is good and faithful!

Some good news!

Sorry for the delay in updating. In Mexico, I use the computer in the evening after the children are all in bed. This works well as Daniel is often not home until 10 pm or later so I use that block of time while I'm waiting for him to update the blog and do other paperwork. But here in the states, Daniel is often gone during the day, but home in the evenings. I don't use the computer during the day as I'm with the children, and now in the evening...well, computer time or Daniel time....that's easy...hubby wins every time :)
But as they say, no news is good news. We are just grateful for yet another week with our little baby safe inside me (28 1/2 weeks now!) and while we had a few rough days, we are doing well now and still at home. If we were to have a medical emergency and were unable to update the blog, we would do our best to have someone update for us as soon as possible. We just thank you for your continued prayers.
And, we are excited to share a bit of good news. The doctor called back today with the results of the MRI and while my condition is still very serious, it appears as if the placenta has NOT exited the uterus or attached to another organ. The doctor gave the diagnosis as a placenta increta. So while we do understand how very serious this diagnosis is, we just thanked the Lord for the "good news" as it wasn't as bad as it could have been. And if the placenta is all contanined inside of the uterus still, then I can have the baby here rather than having to go down to Davis.
We are so thankful for this answer to prayer and even though there is still a very high possibility that they will have to remove the uterus during the delivery, it looks as if my other organs will be fine. We just continue to rest in the hands of our Heavenly Father and just want our lives and the life of our little son to bring Him glory.

  2. So glad to hear that everything is going well w/ little Lockwood #12 and that he is safely inside you still growing :) I have been waiting for a update...checking a couple times a day sometimes. The hubby wins every time here too :) It is good to hear that you aren't going to have to travel to Davis as I am sure that would be much harder for you and the children, especially if you end up in the hospital earlier than normal. Hope y'all have wonderful week. Thanks for keeping us updated.

  11. So good to hear from you, and to "hear" your very positive outlook, as usual! :) That IS good news, and I am so grateful that you are doing very well, considering all of the potential for things to go differently...and that Baby is continuing to grow and thrive inside Mom! Continuing to pray many times daily for all of you!

  17. Dear Jaynee,

Once again thanks for the update. I am happy that the news wasn't as bad as it could have been and that little man is still safe inside of you. I check several times each day for an update. I felt like I needed to check first thing this morning, at 5:45 a.m., before I started my day. I'm glad I did.

    God Bless,

  23. Hi Jaynee, I have been follwing your blog for awhile now too ... my husband and I are missionaries in Bolivia (out of Canada). We have 5 kids ... not a large family compared to yours, but large compared to most around us! :) I have been praying about this new little one ... praying for your protection, baby's protection, and for a way to balance your ministry in Mexico as you "wait"! God bless you!

  29. Wow!! You always sound so upbeat, but I'm sure you are as (or more!) nervous as the rest of us with all that you're going through! May God continue to hold you in the palm of His hand, the best place, and give you strength to face whatever is ahead. Take care of yourself and that sweet little man!

Btw, we found a letter Gladys wrote Rebekah in my "pile" on my desk. It was telling her we had a baby :-0 Guess it's been there a while :-)

  35. When you said they might still have to remove the uterus during delivery, does that mean you can not have any more children? Praying that is not the case!
