Our Children (Part 1)

Over the past couple of months, several people have asked, through either comments or emails, if we would post a picture of each child individually and tell a little about each one. So today I will write a little about each of our wonderful blessings and post a picture below. I've also had many ask us about our day to day life...our schedule, activities, routines ect... So in the days ahead, I will also post about that as well. :)

Timothy Daniel Lockwood
Timothy means "He who honors God"
Age: 11 1/2
Timothy is very social and loves to be with people. He is naturally kind and friendly to everyone and has never met a stranger. He loves his brothers and sisters and his favorite part of his schedule is when he gets to play with them. He loves to build and make things and his favorite subjects are math and science. He plays piano and guitar and in his free time, loves to invite the neighborhood children over to play soccer, and loves playing Daddy chess and playing Mommy Boggle. Timothy accepted Jesus as his Savior when he was 6 year old and he was baptized last October by his Daddy. He wants to be a missionary to Brazil someday.

Elijah Douglas Lockwood
Elijah means "Jehovah is God"
Age: 10
Elijah LOVES to read. He loves animals, bugs, lizards, snakes, and fish. He has an amazing memory! Elijah accepted the Lord as his Savior last year and was baptized by Daddy along with Timothy. He wants to go to Russia as a missionary someday. He bought a program to begin learning Russian and loves to read about the country and the people there. Elijah also plays piano and guitar and loves to play classical piano music for Mommy while she's working. :) He is always willing to help whenever asked without complaining.

Rebekah Sandra Lockwood
Rebekah means "Yoke"
Age: 9
Rebekah is full of energy and such a big blessing to me. She is so good to see needs that nobody else has noticed and then go and meet them. She loves to cook, clean, and organize. Her favorite part of our schedule is the 45 minutes she gets to teach the little ones. She is very creative and loves to teach and do projects with her younger siblings. Rebekah has a tender heart for the Lord and has also accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior. She too was baptized with her brothers last October. Rebekah wants her Daddy to find her a missionary to Africa to marry someday. :)
Benjamin Randall Lockwood
Benjamin means "Son of my right hand"
Age: 8
Benjamin is very quiet, organized, and detailed. He loves to work with Daddy and has a special love for his baby brothers. Benjamin loves trains, playing soccer, and finding bugs. During the time that Daniel was sick, Benjamin came to his Daddy and told him that he wanted to ask Jesus to be his Savior. So Benjamin knelt down by his Daddy and accepted Christ on May 18, 2008...his 8th birthday. In June, Daniel was baptizing some people from our church and Benjamin asked me to help him get some dry clothes because he wanted to be baptized too. Benjamin wants to stay in Mexico and be a missionary like Daddy when he is big.
