...and then look across the room to see a little 2 year old boy sleeping next to his Daddy...
Or think of seeing my husband walk into that airport and put his arms around me...
And know that there are 2 men at home right now with their wives and little ones...
Knowing that there are 18 children who still have their daddies...
My heart is overwhelmed with gratefulness...oh how I praise and thank the Lord.
Thank you for praying us through this time. Praise the Lord with us. Hold your loved ones closer today. Remember the brevity of our life here on earth. And if you do not know Jesus Christ as your Saviour and Lord...if you are unsure where you would spend eternity...we would love to introduce you to Him. He is so good!

Satan sure likes to attack God's children. I remember him doing that to my family as a child and he still tries to attack. Thank the Lord, each attack that Satan brings simply teaches us to trust God more fully and can deepen our relationship with Him if we allow. I am so thankful that these two Godly men are home again safely. I will continue to pray for your family, it is clear Satan is not willing to let up right now.

Jaynee,
ReplyDeleteDuring this time of Holy week, we are reminded of the suffering of Christ. If only we all could offer up our life as He did. this world would be a greater place. You seem to offer it up every day, God's blessings on you and your family as we prepare the way. Christ is Risen! Have a blessed Easter.

God is so good. What a joy to have your husband home safe and to see him with your children.
ReplyDeleteGod bless you all as you seek His will and do His work,
Belynda
I have never commented on your blog, but I pray for you often. My husband and I were involved in a very serious head on collision when I was 7 months pregnant with our third child. Our other two children were also in the car with us. God protected all of us and we all survived and the baby was not injured at all. When I saw the pictures of your husband's truck, it brought back all those memories. Memories of deep thankfulness that no one was critically injured.
ReplyDeleteI think I may go back and find the pictures of our wreck and frame one and place it on our mantel! Thanks for the idea!
I will continue to pray for your sweet family and for your precious Samuel.
Wow, the truck looks bad! It's obvious to see that God really protected them from serious injury. I'm so glad they are both home and with their families now. That last picture of Daniel with Samuel is priceless.
ReplyDeletePraying and thinking of you all,
Samantha
