Welcome! Nuestra Casa Es Su Casa ...Our house is your house

A glimpse into the life of Daniel and Jaynee Lockwood and their 12 precious blessings. Thank you for visiting; we pray that what we share here may always bring glory to our wonderful God and Saviour. May you praise the Lord with us for the great things He has done and continues to do as we serve Him sharing the gospel here in the little town of Cuidad Insurgentes, BCS Mexico. He alone is good and faithful!

Pictures from today :)

What a blessing this group has been! The work they did in one day would have taken our family a week or more to do! I just thank the Lord for bringing them here. They have such a sweet spirit...I've heard no complaining at all, though it is so very hot, they are eating foods that they are not use to, they are sleeping on a cement floor, and so far from home and all that is familiar. We know the Lord will bless them for their labor of love for Him.
We had a full house for VBS today! Daniel shared the gospel with the children...many who have never heard before. We pray the Lord not only reaches their hearts, but their families as well. VBS always gives us the opportunity to talk to many of the parents of the children who come.
Josefina just came over to watch the little ones as they sleep and I'm going over to the church for the evening devotions with Daniel and the team.
A mom from one of the girl's on the team emailed me today and said that their families back at home in Idaho were meeting at 9 am today to pray for them and us. The Lord is truly blessing and we just praise Him for the work He allowed us all to do today.

  1. What a blessing! It brings back memories of when I was 18 and went on a missions trip to Tecate, Baja. I will never forget it! I am so glad they are there to help. May I ask a silly question? Is there a reason you dress all your boys basically in the same attire daily? Love and Blessings!

  2. It is wonderful to see the many pictures and read about the work that was accomplished today! We’re thankful to hear that the kids are not complaining. They all worked very hard and sacrificed a lot of time and material possessions to earn the privilege of serving the Lord in Baja. It is such a blessing to see the fruits of the Spirit coming from this endeavor! To God be the Glory... Great things HE has done (and is doing)!

  3. Shari~ Our boys love to match...the little ones all want to look like their big brothers :) They usually wear jeans as they are the most durable for the "rougher" terrain/work here.
Each older boy has a younger brother for a "partner"...they help their little buddy get dressed, comb their hair, make their bed, tie their shoes ect... each morning. So they pick their own shirts out and often time will all pick the same.
Most of their clothing have been given to them, and this year, we were given a lot of blue shirts for the boys, so you may often see them in blue :)
While our really little ones will wear t-shirts, our older ones like to look like Daddy and will often wear a button down or polo shirt too :)

  4. Health not permiting I am unable to come to you except in spirit. My prayers each day for Jaynee & Daniel & children and now for the team down there from Idaho as well. I am so happy for you all to be together like you are and how much they are helping you. I do pray each day for them as well and a safe trip back to Idaho where I flew out of Mt Home AFB for 5 years. Nice people there. God bless you all and stay well and be safe. In Christian Love Dean S.

  5. How awesome is our God. That is evident from the photos of all the teamwork going on with the group from Idaho. It is wonderful to see people working so well together for a good cause. This world is so laden with wickedness, that it warms my heart to see what you are doing with your family and how you have chosen to raise them. May we be able to meet someday. We have six blessings ranging in ages from 17-2 1/2 years.
    God bless!!

  7. Wow! It looks like everything's going really well. I'm glad you guys can get all that help. I can only imagine how difficult it would be to do a VBS w/o them there.I hope you're having a blessed time. The kids sure seem to be enjoying themselves. All those teenage girls from which they can get some attention.haha jk I did notice how much Pastor Rich seems to like Nehemiah though. That's so cute! Tell all your little ones I say hi. Love, Jeana
