They say no news is good news and we are so thankful for a couple of very uneventful days medically speaking. The hospital does not have a wireless connection, so I'm back to using dial up which is quite slow (although I am very grateful to have a connection at all), so don't worry if you don't hear from us for a day. Just know your prayers are being answered and the Lord is not only keeping baby and mommy safe, but giving all the grace and strength we need as we wait.
If an emergency comes up and I am unable to update, we have some dear friends who've graciously offered to update for us. Daniel has their phone numbers on him and will call them if something happens suddenly.
I feel so very spoiled through so many visits, phone calls, and treats to help keep me occupied as I wait. Daniel has brought up the children most every day which is the highlight of my days and I think the highlight of the hospital staff's days too. :) Children truly are a blessing from the Lord! It is so hard to see some of them cry when it is time to go, but with a prommise that they will be back to see me soon, they are doing so good in obeying Daddy and praying that we can all be together...all 14 of us!....as a family soon.
I'm almost done writing the answers to many of the questions you've asked and will hopefully post that tonight.
We're almost to week 32! Thank you Lord! And thank you all who have faithfully prayed us through this far! Have a blessed weekend in Him!
Welcome! Nuestra Casa Es Su Casa ...Our house is your house
A glimpse into the life of Daniel and Jaynee Lockwood and their 12 precious blessings. Thank you for visiting; we pray that what we share here may always bring glory to our wonderful God and Saviour. May you praise the Lord with us for the great things He has done and continues to do as we serve Him sharing the gospel here in the little town of Cuidad Insurgentes, BCS Mexico. He alone is good and faithful!

ReplyDelete"Therefore I say to you, all things for which you pray and ask, believe that you have received them, and they will be granted you."
Still praying, and hoping all goes well

To think, Jaynee, the Lord has allowed you to get this far with the baby in your womb is nothing other than His tender and gracious mercies. I know its no fun being away from the family but He is growing you in graces that will burst forth in to a beautiful story to encourage and share with others. He gives us these life opportunities so we might tell others of His wonderful works!! May the Lord bless you with special times in His word and fellowship. So thankful and will keep the prayers going!!!

Praying for you, and always so happy to see another update!
ReplyDeleteI was wondering if you would mind sharing some of the scripture you've chosen to memorize during this time? My thought was that it would be nice to come alongside you in memorizing scripture, too.
May the Lord fill you with His peace and confidence during this season of waiting. May He surround you with encouragement, and surround your family with loving support, knowing that all of it comes from Him.
Blessings and grace,
The Wilsons in VA
Jaynee,
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you are still doing well and baby is still growing strong inside of you. I've been praying and will keep on doing so.
Love you, Shelly in AK
Oh, I am so glad to hear that you are doing well. I can't believe it is almost 32 weeks. What a blessings. I had my first one at 35 weeks after 15 weeks of bedrest and 7 weeks in the hospital. I know how boring it can be there. I am glad that you are having so many visitors.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Dawn
32 weeks will be a wonderful milestone to reach!! I'm so glad Daniel and the children have been able to visit so frequently--I wish I were in the area and could visit! :)
ReplyDeleteI am praying!
Love,
Jen
My prayers are with you Jaynee. As a nurse, I had a dying patient who radiated Christ Jesus. As she lay there dying I could hear her family reading scriptures and praying with her. Ultimatley, this was instrumental in my hearing the gospel very shortly after and being saved as a result at the age of 27.
ReplyDeleteI am so thankful that now, at age 50 I can be the one praying with my patients!
I know the Lord will use you mightily there in the hospital.
Love,

Every day inside is such a blessing for baby. Continuing to pray for you and your family. It's so interesting to me that people who may make judgements about larger families often have no idea about the true way most live. Then when they have opportunity to meet someone with a big family they change their mind. Even with only eight children people groan or roll their eyes when they find out how many I have - then when they meet everyone they are surprised at what they find. All those nurses and doctors are probably having their minds changed about how large families function - especially the notion that the kids can't possibly be loved enough or receive enough attention!! :0) Everywhere you go there is a mission!!!
ReplyDeleteSo glad to see you update. I've been wondering and praying extra. <3
ReplyDeletePraise for the uneventful days. Praying for more days like that.
ReplyDeleteHello, You don't know us but I found your blog in a very round about way. Just reading about your family's passion for sharing the gospel has been so encouraging. We are praying for you up here in Alaska!

Praise the Lord for uneventful days! I spent a month in the hospital on bedrest with my first, and the doctors were amazed at his health when he was born at 35 weeks. They weighed him on two different scales, because they couldn't believe he was a premie (7 lbs, 4 oz!). My greatest encouragement during those LONG days was that they said every day that he remained inside was the equivalent of 2 days in the NICU after birth. We praised God that our little Michael didn't have to spend ANY time in the NICU. :) We will continue to praise God for His faithfulness to your family and ask that He would protect you and that little one.
ReplyDeleteHi Jaynee! We just had some new friends in our home tonight with their precious little 2 yr. old girl for Bible study. They told us she had been born at 28 weeks because her mommy had heavy bleeding with placenta previa! I immediately thought of you!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you're still baking that sweet little bun. I clearly remember those long days in the hospital away from my family. I felt so helpless, but time passed it was all for the best because baby stayed safely inside me.
God is good!
what a long hall! I have been praying for you. Does the Doctors who specialize in this placenta accreta believe this will occur in every pregnancy from now on? This would be a very hard life to live for you and your family. I havent heard you speak on this with another pregnancy.
ReplyDeleteYou are almost there!
Every extra day baby Lockwood can be in there is such a blessing and warms my heart! Love you!!
