Saturday afternoon, the excitement was in full swing as Daddy walked in the door with a cage full of chickens. Timothy and Daddy are splitting the cost; Timothy is raising his to butcher and sell and the rest are for us to butcher and eat (along with some egg layers too!).
Then this morning, I sent the children outside to wait by the van while I gathered my last minute things for church. Again, squeals and giggles of delight arose as half of them ran back inside to tell me that Butterscotch had her puppies....seven of them. Anybody want one?:)
What fun! Looks like your children really enjoy those animals. :o)
ReplyDeleteMy hubby found your blog a few days ago, and it has been fun to read. We seem to have a lot in common with you! We are missionaries in Guatemala, also married in '95. But we have just six children so far... How'd you get ahead of us?? ;o)
Blessings on your ministry in Mexico!
